ABOUT THE ROLE

The Transparency International Secretariat is currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Assistant for its Communications Team.

OVERVIEW OF KEY DIMENSIONS

Role Purpose: The Temporary Part-Time Assistant in Communications supports with the development and delivery of internal and external communications, campaigns, and supports the communications team channels.

Team: Communications Team

Salary: Midi Job on hourly wage (16 EU/hour)

Starting Date: as soon as possible

Contract Duration: Currently we can offer an employment contract until 28.02.2025.

Working Hours: part time (20-25 hours per week) 

Location: Transparency International Secretariat (TI-S), Berlin

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE

Based in the Communications Team and reporting to the Head of Communications, the Temporary Part-Time Assistant, Communications will:

  • Provide general support in day-to-day operations to the communications team both for internal and external communications
  • Support the creation, posting and curation of content across TI Movement communications channels
  • Support information management for the team, including maintaining and developing TI’s intranet using the central Microsoft 365 platform
  • Support the work and information flow across teams providing internal communications support to colleagues at TI-S and the Movement
  • Contribute to the overall functioning of the team by providing ad hoc support as needed; undertake administrative tasks related to the day-to-day operational internal communications work as required

CANDIDATE PROFILE

In order to succeed in this role, candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Background in communications, public relations, social science, journalism, marketing or other relevant fields
  • Relevant experience in an international organisational context working on internal and/or external communication, public relations, information technology or related
  • Familiarity with internal communications tools and a basic understanding of measurement a strong advantage
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and Salesforce/Pardot a strong advantage
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills working collaboratively across stakeholders at all levels
  • Business fluency in English required; additional languages, in particular French, Spanish and/or Arabic, an asset
  • Strong organisational and time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks under tight deadlines
  • Interest in anti-corruption work and commitment to the values and principles of Transparency International
  • Creative, positive, can-do attitude
