ABOUT THE ROLE
Transparency International Secretariat (TI) is currently seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (m/f/d).
As a member of the Development & Partnerships team, the Fundraising Coordinator plays a key role in the implementation of the TI’s fundraising strategy, contributing to the diversification, sustainability and growth of income from institutional donors. The role supports the development of high-quality funding proposals and coordinates complex proposal processes across TI teams, national chapters and external partners.
This position requires a deep knowledge and experience in proposal design and development, along with a strong interest in working within a complex international environment. The successful candidate will bring the ability to critically reflect on concepts, processes and performance, and to continuously adapt their approach to improve quality and impact.
The role involves regular interaction with donors and partners. As such, strong communication skills, relationship building ability, and confidence in engaging with external stakeholders are essential. Existing donor or policy level contacts, particularly within institutional funding contexts, are an asset, as is the ability to build trusted relationships over time.
Collaboration and partnership are central to the Fundraising Coordinator’s work. The role requires a self-motivated, proactive professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and deadline, and contribute constructively within cross functional and cross-cultural teams.
The Development & Partnerships Team supports the delivery of TI priorities within the framework of Transparency International’s Global Strategy 2030 – Holding Power to Account, and the Fundraising Coordinator contributes directly to enabling this strategic ambition through effective resource mobilisation.
